Welcome! My name is Denise Halfyard, your host of this unique Indigenous Experience Air BnB. I am a Wet’suwet’en, Tsimshian, Gitxsan entrepreneur from Northern BC. Being an extrepreneur, it was very important to me to use the products and services of Indigenous businesses. If you would like to include your product or service please get in touch with me.
I love incorporating my culture into everything I do, and this suite is no different. In the Tsimshian language of Smalgyax, gyemsax translates to “feel at home.”
That is what I hope you will do when staying here.

Reading Material
The media room has a nice selection of books for you or your children, to learn more about Indigenous culture from across Turtle Island.
Television
Log into your favourite streaming service on the smart TV and watch a movie in the media room.
Free Wifi
WiFi code will be provided to you upon your arrival.
Travel Guide
Available in the Air BnB app, you can access our guide to Indigenous owned businesses and services located in and around the Lower Mainland.
Food Storage
Mini fridge and microwave are available in suite. As well as a coffee maker and Soda Stream.
